Sleep Training

When your baby has strong sleep habits and satisfying sleep your entire family functions better, happier, and stays healthier. Gentle sleep training allows your baby to learn and strengthen strong sleep habits so your entire family can have a satisfying night’s rest. Sleep training plans are custom made for your baby’s temperament and needs, for babies from 12 weeks and up, and can be achieved in as little as 3 full days. 

We begin gentle sleep training process with a planning call or conference where you share your goals and baby’s challenges with me. We then discuss next steps and schedule your baby’s sleep training. On our start date, I arrive a few hours before bedtime, allowing baby to get comfortable with my presence before the night. Over the next few days, I help guide and care for your baby in the night and at naps, peacefully and gently teaching your little one how to go to sleep on their own in their crib or bed. 

By the end of sleep training your baby has all the skills they need to get a solid night’s sleep, while you have the ability to focus on your own rest and enjoy your evenings and nights again.

Cheryl Kindred has been supporting families as a postpartum and labor doula and gentle sleep specialist for over a decade. She prides herself on customizing sleep plans for the needs of a family and uses experience, research, and specialized training for these tailored plans. In her free time she loves to travel both with her elementary-aged children and solo, visit art museums, and try out new restaurants.
